Neat and New to Me: Clinique Chubby Sticks in Bountiful Beige, Ample Amber and Fuller Fudge - Makeup and Beauty Blog
Neat and New to Me
Unlike my Unsung Heroes series, which features permanent collection products I've known and loved a long time, the Neat and New to Me series showcases permanent drove products that slipped nether my radar for a while, merely then I discovered them! — and now I call up they're bang-up and new to me.
You know when you're driving along and y'all see someone on the corner waving and spinning one of those huge signs for the discounted article of furniture warehouse or the Little Caesar'southward $2 Tuesday Pizza Special? I feel like I should be doing the same affair side by side to a Clinique counter, except my sign would read, "EYE MAKEUP LOVERS, IF Y'all'RE HELLA TIRED, Go Hither!"
You don't fifty-fifty know how much their Stubby Sticks have been rocking my globe lately. They're perfect for makeup minimalist mode, or if you haven't been sleeping well lately (seriously, I get to the bathroom at least iv times a dark), or if you only desire to vesture centre makeup but don't want to spend half your morning blending sh*t out on your lids.
My favorite three shades are Bountiful Beige, Ample Amber and Fuller Fudge, and if y'all've been visiting the web log this calendar week, you may have already seen them in activeness in this quick chroma tip postal service or when I talked most those Sephora Beauty Classes.
Lightweight, semi-sheer cream shadows in a twist-up stick, they're $17 each and non as well heavily pigmented or shimmery, which I actually, REALLY similar when I don't want to deal with intense blending.
I haven't wanted to spend a ton of fourth dimension doing my eyes lately, and so these Stubby Sticks have been And so Peachy considering the colors are so easy to blend and merge into each other.
If I'm just going to be wearing one shade, I'll run the stick like a crayon across my lids and smooth out the edges with a finger, but if I'm wearing ii or more, I'll employ a MAC 217.
They take about 5 minutes to set, and then they aren't the kind of foam shadows that dry out the instant they touch your skin. With these, I have time to vitrify and alloy, so it's not a boxing against the clock, and I don't take to pull and tug hard on my lids.
Every bit for the wearable time? SO EPIC. They'll last a full eight or 9 hours on my combination dry/oily lids, and I don't fifty-fifty have to involve NARS Pro-Prime number Smudge Proof.
Yeah, I can skip primer with 'em! Just the Chubbies and I'm expert.
I've been wearing and loving an eye look lately with Ample Amber from my lash line up to my forehead os, Fuller Fudge in the outer corners and Bountiful Beige equally an inner corer highlight (oh, and Bountiful Beige as well doubles as a highlighter). And so I'll tight line my upper lashes with Chanel 88 Noir Intense, smudge MAC Costa Riche along my lower lash and h2o lines and load upwards on mascara, all of which takes well-nigh 10 minutes…which is a lot quicker than doing a 30-minute middle expect.
These and a bunch of other colors are bachelor now at Clinique counters and online. Highly recommended!
Your friendly neighborhood beauty addict,
Karen
